Police appeal after bins damaged in Douglas

Police are appealing for witnesses after four bins were damaged in the rear lanes between Somerset Road, Withington Road and Woodbourne Road.

The bins had been left in the lanes or adjacent yards and were extensively damaged by an unknown party setting fire to them shortly before midnight on Wednesday 28th August 2013.

Constable David Baker, based at Lord Street Police Station, is currently investigating this matter.  Anyone who may have been in the area at the time, and who may have seen any part of what occurred or anything suspicious, is asked to come forward and make contact with Police  on 631212.
