Organiser says golf trip was a hit

There are high hopes for the future of golf tours after an outstanding success at the end of last week.

On Friday the Wind Surf – the world’s largest sailing ship – brought 300 passengers to the Island, on its way around the British Isles visiting top golf courses.

Ged Power of Isle of Man Golf Tours says it took a lot of hard work to bring the visitors here, and when they arrived the Island had some tough competition to contend with.

But he says the Isle of Man made a real impression on visitors – who may well be back in the future:Clip 1
