Vote for your favourite Manx Creative

by isleofman.com 3rd September 2013

Submissions for the Ashgrove Marketing Createurs competition have closed, and now the Manx public gets to have their say on who submitted the best entry.

The competition, which challenged Manx creative amateurs to submit work that met a business need, has six awards.  One of the largest and most coveted is the Lloyds TSB People’s Choice Award. Ashgrove Marketing has created a shortlist of the strongest pieces of work, which will be uploaded to the company’s Facebook page on 8th September, where the public can vote for their favourite submission. The work that receives the most likes will be given the Lloyds TSB People’s Choice Award at the Createurs awards ceremony later this month, which includes coverage in Gallery Magazine and ?200 cash.

Createurs aims to help creative amateurs build their portfolio while learning how to use their creative skills to support business goals. Creative amateurs had the opportunity to submit work in the following categories: web & multimedia, graphic design, photography and copywriting.  ?1000 of cash prizes are available thanks to the generous sponsorship of Lloyds TSB, Best Entry and People’s Choice sponsors; Okells, Graphic Design and Copywriting sponsors; and Robinsons, Photography and Web & Multimedia sponsors.  The project is also kindly supported by Gallery magazine.

Ashgrove Marketing’s Brand Strategist, Graeme Brooks, commented: “It’s been wonderful working with some of these creatives to help them develop things that are effective as well as attractive; they have really grown in their skills and developed excellent work.  I would encourage everyone on the Island to go and take a look, and vote for their favourites!”

You can vote for your favourite piece of work between the 8th and 17th of September at http://www.facebook.com/AshgroveMarketing.com.
