Rally Isle of Man appeal for marshals and timekeepers

by isleofman.com 4th September 2013

Rally Isle of Man, powered by Microgaming, is looking for people to help run next weeks 50th anniversary event.

The rally takes place from Thursday 12th to Saturday 14th September, covering a mix of classic and new stages across the island.

As a result marshals and timekeepers are needed to ensure the event is a success. Marshals are a vital ingredient in any volunteer-led event and anyone who has an interest in motorsport or just wants to be involved would be warmly welcomed. There is no need for any previous experience.

Adam Warburton, Chief Marshal for Rally Isle of Man said: “We value any time you can lend us whether it be a morning, an afternoon or evening. The islands people provide amazing support for us every year, and it really is appreciated, and we hope to welcome you to help celebrate the anniversary of this great event, revered throughout the sport.”

Anyone interested is asked to get in touch with Rally Isle of Man on 852440 or by calling into Rally Isle of Man Headquarters based at 10a Tromode Industrial Estate, Douglas up to this Friday, 6th September, or to the Rally HQ at the TT Grandstand from Saturday 7th.
