by isleofman.com 6th September 2013

His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor Mr Adam Wood presented prizes to the winners of Albany Lawn Tennis Club’s annual championship tournament. Marc Chinn beat Sean Drewry in the senior men’s singles final while Laura Feely won the women’s singles event with Sarah Breed finishing as runner-up.

Stuart Colligon, Director of Auxesia Ltd, said sponsoring the tournament was an ideal match for the company’s business philosophy. He added: “Our approach to business is based on an ‘aggregation of marginal gains’ philosophy in which we help clients strive for 1% performance improvements across all areas of the business to deliver significant gains. Tennis, like all sports, is about making marginal gains in training in order to perform better in competition, so we welcome opportunities to show our support for events which tie-in with our core values. We’re delighted that the championship proved to be such a success and would like to thank everyone who organized the event, all of those who took part, the friends and families of players who turned up to watch, and His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor for kindly agreeing to present the prizes on finals day.”
