Two accidents on Island roads

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital after an accident at the Gooseneck on the Mountain Road this lunchtime.
It happened around 12.30pm and involved just a single bike.
Emergency services attended and the rider was taken to Nobles with what were thought to be possible shoulder injuries.
Earlier in the day there was an accident at Barregarroo near Kirk Michael.
That happened around 10.40am and involved just a single car which it's believed hit the hedge.
A DTI road sweeper was called to deal with the incident.
The driver of the car was uninjured
