Man threatens couple on Promenade

Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident on Douglas Promenade in which a couple were threatened.
It happened around 11.15pm last night (Sat) in the area around the Central Apartments at the bottom of Broadway.
The pair, a man and a woman, were threatened by a man wearing dark clothing who then chased the man in the couple along the promenade in the direction of the Empress Hotel.
Officers say they would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed what happened or who were in the area at the time.
