Matt Clinton wins tough End to End Challenge

by isleofman.com 8th September 2013
This year's Manx Telecom End to End Mountain Bike Challenge has been won by Matt Clinton from Balsall Common in the West Midlands.
It was a first win for the Mike Vaughan cycle club rider, who had a time of over three hours, but was a good two minutes ahead of second placed Edward Perry, a local Bikestyle rider.
Defending champion Elliot Baxter came in third.
Conditions were said to be tough - muddy with a lot of standing water and a strong headwind - leading to the slower than expected finishing times.
