At approximately 11.15pm Saturday 7th September 2013, an incident has occurred in the area of Central Apartments at the bottom of Broadway, Douglas. At this time a male in dark clothing has threatened a male and female, and then chased the male along the promenade in the direction of the Empress Hotel.
Police would like to speak with anyone in the area that can offer assistance with the investigation. In particular, 3 males that were outside the Empress Hotel who have told the victim to call the Police upon hearing he has been threatened.
Detective Sergeant Paul Holland said “This incident occurred at a busy time and a number of people were in the area. If you have any information regarding this, no matter how small please contact the police.”
