Microgaming smashes jackpot record

Manx-based egaming software firm Microgaming says one of its mobile phone games has smashed a world record.

The company, based on Circular Road in Douglas, says a player using one of its games has won the largest ever mobile jackpot.

The player, known as Gabriel L, is now ?3.7 million richer thanks to the win on the aptly-named Mega Moolah fruit machine game.

Roger Raatgever, Microgaming’s Chief Executive Officer, says it’s the largest mobile jackpot win in history.
