Barrett and McCann take the honours

by isleofman.com 14th September 2013
A dominant performance from Ryan Barrett and Paul McCann saw them take the honours in the Rallee Clasicagh section of the 50th anniversary of Rally Isle of Man.

The pair won by over three minutes from David Stokes and Guy Weaver with Guy Woodcock and Graham Dance in third.

Ryan put on quite a show for the spectators at the finish at the Grandstand described by Chris Boyd (listen to audio):

Aaron Newby and local co-driver Rob Fagg took the honours in the International Rally by two minutes and 43 seconds.

There was a terrific scrap for the remaining two podium spots between four local crews - eventually Steve Quine and Richard Skinner pipped Steve Colley and Andrew Cowley to second spot by less than half a second!

Afterwards, former international trials star Steve Colley was very emotional when he spoke to Chris Boyd (listen to audio):

Patt Bettridge and Paul Gelling were the winners of the Manx Trophy Rally.Clip 1
