Gymns continue to set the pace in JCK Division Two.

A 5-1 home victory over Ayre on Saturday maintained their one point lead.

A dominant first half showing sealed the victory as they scored four without reply.

Mike Booth (two), Mark Connor and James Murphy scored their goals.

The ever-green James Teare was again on target for the Tangerines.

Douglas Royal are still in second place after a fine 5-2 victory at Marown, who have now lost three of their opening five games.

Paul Whitley, Simon Dooley, Andrew Lancaster, Gavin Gawne and Greg Hoskisson were the marksmen for lively Royal.

Kevin Druggan and Stewart Morris scored for the home side.

Onchan’s super start continued with a 4-2 home win over Braddan, courtesy of Greg Taylor (two), Kraig Marsh and Daniel Bentham.

A Craig Gelling hat-trick and a goal from player-manager Juan Kinvig fired Colby to a 4-0 win at Ronaldsway, while a goal in each half saw Douglas Athletic to a 2-0 win over Pulrose.

Louie Jennings (penalty) and Craig Howard scored for Malew as they won 2-1 at Douglas and District, whose scorer was Daniel Clague Stewart.
