TT viewing figures rise to boost tourism?

by isleofman.com 15th September 2013

The growing demand for TT coverage around the world should bring more visitors to the Island, whether bikers or not.

Latest audience figures show a huge increase in the TV audience for North's One's programmes on ITV4 - which put on an extra one million viewers from last year.

The statistics also show year-on-year growth for other forms of media, including radio, print, online and social media.

A TT app launched just before the start of TT proved a big hit: it was downloaded 73,000 times with a total of 1.4 million active sessions.

But does this expansion of the TT brand off-Island add to the Manx economy?
