Air passenger figures rose by over 13.5% last month, on top of a near 10% increase the month before, according to the Department of Infrastructure's latest figures.
There's now been a six-month period of continuous growth.
The north west of England and London routes each saw 5,000 more passengers using them, compared to August last year.
