Swan death details emerge

by isleofman.com 17th September 2013
The death of a swan in Ramsey harbour is no longer being described as an act of ‘mindless animal cruelty’.

Police say they’ve now been informed the swan was seen in harbour several hours before an alleged incident was reported to them.

The adult swan was found near to the bridge on Bowring Road at around 5pm on Saturday.

Police would still like to speak to three youths aged between 14 and 16 who were seen leaving the area at the time.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Ramsey police on 812234 or Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
