Alex Holden led the home side’s reply with a double and was joined on the scoresheet by Kerron Christian and Andy Quirk but it couldn’t prevent defeat.

St Mary’s demolished rock bottom Castletown at the Bowl.

Steven Priestnal, Marc Priestnal, Josh Thomas and Darren Smethurst were among the goals in the 11-0 romp.

Laxey were pushed hard by newly promoted Michael and would have been relieved to leave Balleira Road with all three points.

Johnny Callow’s second minute goal separated the sides.

Two sides expected to battle it out to stay in the top flight drew 1-1 at Ballacloan.

A Matty Cain penalty gave Union Mills the lead before John Roberts levelled for Ramsey after the break.
