Friends of the Earth calls for climate change action

With an international report on climate change out, the Isle of Man branch of Friends of the Earth is calling for the Island to play its part in reducing carbon emissions.
The Intergovenmental Panel On Climate Change's fifth report is being considered in Stockholm, Sweden, over the next three days.
In it, scientists have issued their starkest warning yet - that the burning of fossil fuels and deforestation have now led to a warming of the entire globe, including land surfaces, oceans and the atmosphere.
That has brought more extreme weather events, shrinking ice sheets and rising sea levels.
Phil Corlett of Isle of Man Friends of the Earth says although small, the Island still needs to help tackle these issues:
