Cut backs on government attendance at party conferences

The Isle of Man Government hasn't sent a delegation to the recent Liberal Democrat or this week's Labour conferences.
But the Chief Minister and two civil servants will travel to next week's Conservative gathering in Manchester.
Allan Bell has previously heralded how important it is for us to be seen at such important meetings.
However, he now believes the Isle of Man, which will shortly be signing tax exchange agreements with the United Kingdom and United States, is seen in a different light to a few years ago.
He says gaining access to top politicians in London is easier as a result:-
