The Islands Primary School children now have the chance to design a Christmas Card, have their design printed and sold to raise funds for Crossroads Care Isle of Man.

The competition is being organised by Mantons Cards, Port Erin's national award winning Gift and Greeting Card Store.

The winning entry will be chosen by leading Greeting Card publisher Noel Tatt, who will print 1,000 of the winning design. The cards will be sold at Mantons Cards with the full sale price being donated to Crossroads. The winner will also receive Mantons vouchers and a framed copy of their design. Noel Tatt will also chose two runners up who will also receive Mantons vouchers.

'The competition was run in 2011 and attracted over 1,000 entries' commented Mantons owner Chris Beards. 'We had a such a large number of enquiries from both teachers and children to ask if Mantons were organising the competition again, that we decided to run the competition this year. Everyone at Mantons is delighted to be able to offer aspiring artists the chance to be creative together with  raising money for such an important Island charity'.

All Isle of Man Primary School children are welcome to enter. All entries should be delivered by hand or post to Mantons Cards by the closing date of 19th October 2013.
