Does Island need freedom of information?

by isleofman.com 27th September 2013
The man who advises the BBC on Freedom of Information will give an insight into his experiences to an Island audience on Monday (September 30).

BBC News specialist Martin Rosenbaum will address the Positive Action Group’s first talk of the new political season.

The group has long campaigned for freedom of information laws in the Isle of Man and the Chief Minister plans to introduce an FoI bill to the branches of Tynwald by the end of this year.

Mr Rosenbaum says he would expect fundamental requests for information in the Island to be similar to requests in the UK.Clip 1
