Southern Nomads keep top spot in Shield

The Nomads derby was won 28-0 by Southern Nomads who go clear at the top of the standings in the Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield.

Colin Kelly bagged two tries for the men in green with tries also coming from Richard Seed and Harry Catlow and Will Cain kicking all four conversions.

In the only other Shield game, Vagabonds B thrashed Castletown 109-8 at Ballafletcher.

Paul Drake picked up Town’s try with Jon Forest kicking the penalty.
