Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident which occurred in the area of the 32nd Milestone between Windy Corner and the Brandywell Road junction of the Snaefell Mountain Road at approximately 4.45pm on Thursday 26th September 2013.
The incident involved a silver car travelling in the direction of Ramsey and a small red van travelling towards Douglas.
It is believed there were a number of motorists using the road at the time, who may have seen the incident, which involved the silver car performing an overtake and coming in to direct conflict with the red van and causing the red van to take action to avoid a collision.
In particular the Police are keen to speak to the driver of green car, which was travelling towards Ramsey and was overtaken by the silver car at the time. It is believed the driver of the green car turned off the Mountain Road on to the Brandywell Road immediately after the incident.
