Big two continue to set pace in the Warehouse Fitness sponsored women’s league following a 6-1 victory over Peel at Douglas Road.

Leading 4-1 at half-time, Donna Shimmin (three), Rebecca Cole (two) and Angela Waite found the target for the Ballafletcher outfit.

The western reply came via a Kerry Beattie effort.

Corinthians remained hot on the heels of their neighbours with a 5-0 victory against Castletown at the Stadium.

Leading 2-0 at the break, Jade Burden (two), Hattie Castle (two) and Lisa Costain netted for the Whites.

Biggest scoreline of the day went to Colby, defeating DHSOB 8-0 at Blackberry Lane.

Leading 5-0 at half-time, Charlotte Cain (three), Shannon Blake (two), Mel McKnight (two) and Hayley Hemsley scored for the southerners.
