"Margin Call" to be next Films in Peel

The next film to be screened at the Centenary Centre by Films in Peel is a fast moving thriller called Margin Call (Cert 15). It will be screened for one night only on Wednesday 9th October at 7.45pm. A Wall Street financial company is downsizing and as employees are laid off the real financial crisis unfolds with unexpected and terrible consequences. An exciting, gripping drama starring Kevin Spacey, Jeremy Irons, Paul Bettany and Zachary Quinto. Tickets cost ?5 and are on sale at Celtic Gold or available on the door (unless sold out).  Reservation tickets can be found at HMV (Douglas), Shakti Man (Ramsey) and Thompson Travel (Port Erin). Please note the reservation tickets guarantee you a seat but payment is on the door.
 
The rest of the autumn programme, which has an international feel to it is as follows: 23 October: A Royal Affair (cert 15) - a sumptuous historical drama, an epic story of forbidden love (with subtitles); 13 November: Wadjda (cert PG) - a warm, funny and humane tale of a girl growing up in Saudi Arabia who simply wants to own a bicycle (with subtitles); 27 November: Searching for Sugar Man (cert 12A)- an Oscar winning documentary, about he mysterious 1970s rock 'n' roller Rodriguez, and 18 December: A Films in Peel Christmas Special: a movie, mulled wine and mince pies!
