An Indian actor and film producer says he wants to tackle the TT circuit as he plans a movie about the racing.

According to reports in the Indian media, John Abraham is planning a film which will be shot on the Isle of Man.

A fan of motorbikes, he’s hoping to include riders such as John McGuinness and Guy Martin in the production.

Mr Abraham, who’s won various awards for almost 40 films over the last 10 years, says he wants to take part in a race to make the film more authentic.

In interviews, the model-turned actor who’s currently one of Bollywood’s biggest stars says he will fly to the Island and participate in a race to get acquainted with the course.

He says his movie will be of 'international standards' and he’ll approach riders to be the heroes in the movie.

Mr Abraham also says he’ll be performing all his own stunts, adding he’s quite comfortable on high-powered machinery.

There’s no release date or title for the production yet, although a technical crew is said to be arriving on the Island in May to shoot footage of the racing.
