Driver ploughs into two parked cars

Police in the north of the Island are appealing for information about an accident over the weekend in which two parked cars were badly damaged by a driver who did not stop.

The incident happened in Ballaugh some time overnight on Friday, when two vehicles parked on the road near the Raven pub were hit by another travelling towards Kirk Michael.

Both parked cars were seriously damaged in the collision.

Police say the car of the person responsible is likely to have extensive damage to its front near side.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Ramsey police station on 812234.
