Alleged heroin smuggler remanded

A Liverpool man accused of smuggling more than ?11,000 worth of heroin internally has been remanded in custody.

Thirty-nine year-old James Boyd of Morningside Road in the city appeared in court this morning.

He was arrested at the Sea Terminal last Friday night.

The man has been charged with various drug offences and remanded until next Tuesday – October the eighth.
