Island fund and fiduciary firm Abacus is to sponsor an international conference for specialist fund managers later this year.
The European Funds: Future of Asset Managerment gathering in Malta will offer advice to managers on new rules and restrictions placed on the European fund market over recent months.
In particular, a new directive on alternative investment funds has affected the way AIF managers operate - and the conference in December will outline the challenges and opportunies that lie ahead.

More than 100 delegates from fund providers and investors to advisors and regulators are expected at the conference 5-6 December.
