by isleofman.com 4th October 2013

On the stage which is being set up for the SINGLE LAUNCH of the teen band EverYoung this Sunday 6th October we are pleased to announce that before EverYoung perform at 4pm you can now listen to some of the Isle of Man finest musicians.  First on stage at 2.30pm will be the amazing duo of Katherine Crowe & Matt Creer who will be performing their hit single “Don’t Let Me Go” – Matt will then do a 30 minute set of his own music. Next on is the HMV Douglas supported artist of the year which is Nick Kinrade who will also do a 30 minutes set.  Following that the charity Junior Achievement will introduce to up and coming stars with 5 minutes of body popping from Josh Molyneux with a 3 song set by Mae Challis.  At 4pm EverYoung will perform their new single.

John Shakespeare Centre Manager of the Strand said “Having got to the point of erecting a stage opposite The Strand we wanted to be able to offer the chance to perform to some of the artists and organisations that we have been involved with over the last year – Katherine Crowe & Matt Creer needs everyone to support them in their quest and Nick Kinrade is supported by HMV and we work closely with Junior Achievement IOM who are bringing on young artists.  We also need to support EverYoung who have chosen the Island to launch their single.  It would be great if the Isle of Man could help to achieve two no1’s in the different charts!

The Strand Shopping Centre opens at 11am and EverYoung will be signing copies of their new single from 2pm in the unit next to Millets on the first floor and the outdoor  stage performances begin at 2.30pm.
