Something had to give in the game of the day in the PwC Mixed Premier Division and a Greg Miller double and strikes from Ollie Webster and Gareth Morris ensured Valkyrs A ended Celts perfect start with a 4-0 success.
Andy Whiting was the star of the show with a four goal haul as Bacchas A defeated their B side 6-2 to also maintain their 100 per cent start.
Johnny Callow and Jamie Brown netted the others.
Karl Moore and Chris Bass replied for the B side.
At the other end of the table, there was a big win for Vikings B, 2-1 winners against Valkyrs B, whose goal was scored by Stephen Moore.
