A 16 year old girl from Peel is presently under observation at Nobles Hospital having taken what is suspected to be prescribed medication. Her condition is not believed to be life threatening at this time. It would appear that some young persons are taking medication socially and Police warn that the volume of consumption of the prescription medication can be very harmful.
Officers from the Western Neighbourhood Policing Team are making enquiries in an effort to find out more information to help stop this dangerous activity.
