Lessons learnt after problems in visitors' online booking system

The Minister for Economic Development admits there were flaws in the new visitors' online booking system.

But John Shimmin told the Public Accounts Committee yesterday (Wednesday) that he believes they have been sorted.

My Travel UK's programme was put in place in January after the previous website crashed.

The issues with the new site mainly affected owners of self-catering properties who could not edit their details or make the website fit their needs.

Mr Shimmin says that lessons have been learnt:
