Appeal after surfboards stolen

On the morning of Sunday 13th October 2013 between 2am and 8am two surf boards have been stolen from outside an address on Derby Square, DOUGLAS.<br />&nbsp;<br />These two 7foot items would be quite difficult to transport, so anyone who has seen someone acting suspiciously, or carrying a similar item is asked to come forward.<br />&nbsp;<br />One of the surfboards are similar to that pictured.&nbsp; The second one is said to be a ‘bright blue’ colour.<br />&nbsp;<br />&nbsp;<br />Constable David Baker, based at Lord Street Police Station, is currently investigating this matter and is appealing for anyone who may have been in the area between the relevant times, and who may have seen any part of what occurred, to come forward and make contact with him on 631212. Any party offered a surfboard or parts of one for sale is also requested to come forward with any information.<br />&nbsp;<br />Information can alternatively be provided, anonymously if preferred, via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.<br />&nbsp;
