A Port Erin man whose house was blown up in a gas explosion almost six years ago is still fighting for compensation.
Jim Horan's house was completely destroyed by the blast in january 2008.
Forensic investigators hired by his insurance company traced the gas to a mains pipe in the road outside the property.
It had fractured, gas seeped into the lower floor of the house and was ignited by by the spark of his oil-fired central heating.
Mr Horan has been fighting a long legal battle for compensation from Manx Gas, particularly for personal injuries he sustained and the health issues they have caused.
He says he has not received a satisfactory offer to far:
Manx Radio has contacted Manx Gas for a comment. A spokesman for the firm said it was unable to do so while the matter was in the hands of advocates.
