Lack of understanding in challenges facing health service says Minister

by isleofman.com 16th October 2013
Health Minister David Anderson is back at work today after surviving a vote of no confidence in Tynwald.
He received the unanimous support of the Council of Ministers and 15 votes in the House of Keys, after a heated debate last night (Tues) which lasted for well over three hours.
It had been proposed by Rushen MHK Laurence Skelly and seconded by South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft
Mr Anderson called the debate "ugly" at times but that he saw the outcome as a vote of confidence in his position.
And he added that he believes there's a lack of understanding in the challenges the health service faces in certain areas.
