Lots of reminders again this week the most important is for the Mini Red coaching groups who attend at 12noon or 1pm on Saturdays. Please will the 12o/c group stay on for 10 minutes and will the 1pm group please come no later than 12.50. Will all of you who have a PPP shirt please wear it as we are taking a photo to say “Thank you” to Panacea Pharma Projects for sponsoring our Mini Tennis programme for over 3 years. They have been super sponsors and you wouldn’t receive your Saturday coaching free of charge without the generous support of PPP. The popular programme continues under a new banner Auxesia Ltd and we are very grateful for their keenness to be involved with Albany tennis at Grass Roots level. If any children attend at 2pm or 3pm want to come earlier and be in the photo that will be fine.
There will be a Red, Orange and Green Ball Match Play event on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 December.
This Sunday is the closing date for entries in the Albany/Auxesia Ltd Junior Open tournament. Please put your entry in the white post box before 2pm.
Also those league team players who wish to attend the IOMLTA Prize Presentation Dinner at Douglas Golf Club on Friday 25 October please give their names and cheque (?16) payable to IOMLTA to Ian Watson or me.
The Club’s Annual General Meeting has been fixed for Thursday 5 December.
Notice of this date and minutes of the 2012 AGM will be e-mailed to all members shortly. Please make a note in your diaries to attend.
The committee have agreed to hire some court time to the island Ladies County team for practice prior to the Winter County Cup as Kensington Road courts won’t be available to them whilst the courts are cleaned. They will be using non-popular time so this shouldn’t interfere with members playing.
