by isleofman.com 17th October 2013

Details of any future redevelopment of the Government owned Summerland site could move a stage closer in a matter of weeks.

In a Tynwald question for written answer Douglas North MHK Bill Henderson asked Infrastructure Minister David Cretney about progress.

Mr Cretney advises that his department is working with the Attorney General's Chambers on terms of agreement with a developer.

This could be finished within weeks with a planning application for development of the whole site the next stage in the process.

No names were detailed in the reply because of commercial sensitivity.
