Police appeal for information on car travelling on Mountain Road

by isleofman.com 17th October 2013
At approximately 7.15am on Wednesday 16th October, a black car travelling on the A18 Mountain Road heading from Ramsey towards Douglas, has overtaken several vehicles travelling on the section of the road known as “the Mountain Mile”.  Police are in receipt of a complaint about the manner of driving of this vehicle and wish to speak to anyone who was in the area at this time, who noticed anything of concern.

Sergeant Andy Kneen would say “I would ask that anyone that can help us with this enquiry to come forward. I would also like to take this opportunity to remind people now that the days are shortening, to check the lights of their vehicles.  At about the time of this report, officers of the  Roads Policing Unit were on patrol further along the Mountain Road, at Creg Na Baa. They stopped and dealt with a number of motorists with defective lights.”
