The Isle of Man has once again shown its generosity when it comes to helping those less fortunate.
The government's International Development Committee and the churches here have collectively given ?75,000 towards projects in Mali.
The government also contributed almost ?31,500 to support vulnerable communities in Rwanda.
In Mali the money is being used by two Christian Aid partner organisations to build wells which will provide clean water for almost 6,700 people living in nine villages.
The funding has also paid for training and education in water safety, health and hygeine, and well maintenance.
The money which has gone to Rwanda has helped set up savings schemes and livestock exchange schemes.
Mark Wilson of Christian Aid says the work funded by the Island's donations has made a real difference to the lives of thousands of men, women and children living in poverty.
