Tesco alcohol licence rejected for third time

by isleofman.com 17th October 2013

Tesco has been refused an alcohol licence for it's proposed Express store in Callow's Yard in Castletown for the third time.
After a two-day hearing at Douglas courthouse, the decision was the same as in April and October last year.
A number of objectors put their cases forward, including Castletown MHK Richard Ronan.
Castletown Commissioners opposed the previous two bids but remained neutral this time around.
