Ramsey regeneration inspires town’s civic Sunday service

by isleofman.com 18th October 2013

Ramsey’s civic Sunday service provided an opportunity to celebrate the town centre’s regeneration.

In his welcome address at Our Lady Star of the Sea and St Maughold Church chairman of Ramsey Town Commissioners Captain Nigel Malpass said the great strides made in delivering Ramsey’s regeneration programme, in particular the transformation of the Courthouse grounds, had been possible only through partnership working. It was against this background, he explained, that the service embraced a broad cross section of the town’s places of worship: the Anglican Church, Baptist Church, Catholic Church, Elim Pentecostal Church, Living Hope Church, Methodist Church and United Reform Church.
