Legislation needed for drug testing at prison

New legisaltion is being hurried through to allow drug testing to resume at the Isle of Man prison.

Taking urine samples from inmates has been suspended after an anomoly in the existing rules was discovered.

The Custody (Amendment) Bill 2013 will go before the House of Keys next week so that mandatory tests for controlled drugs or alcohol can be carried out.
