One of the country's top brass players will lead a workshop on the Island next month (Nov)
Les Neish is one of the leading tuba players of his generation. He has an international reputation as a soloist and educator and has been involved in workshops across Europe, the USA and Australia. He's also performed on an album with Sting.
The day has been organised by the Isle of Man Wind Orchestra and will be open to all musicians playing brass instruments regardless of age and experience, even if they don’t usually play with the orchestra.
School children are particularly welcome.
The workshop will be on Saturday 2nd November and Les will join the Wind Orchestra for a concert the next day (Sun 3rd) at Kirk Braddan church starting at 2.30pm.
