MHK's concerns about quality of care for elderly

by isleofman.com 22nd October 2013
North Douglas MHK Bill Henderson says he hopes a UK care scheme known as “short care” won’t be extended onto the Island.
In the House of Keys today he’ll quiz Social Care Minister Chris Robertshaw about whether the scheme operates on the Isle of Man.
Mr Henderson says the scheme was introduced as a result of government cutbacks across.
And he says the quality of care from those visiting elderly people has suffered as a result:
Elsewhere on the question paper topics include plans for a wind turbine factory in Jurby, the annual deficit for bus operations, council houses in Castletown and the fibre optic cable.
