by isleofman.com 22nd October 2013

Creechurch Sports Academy member, Yasmin Ingham, joined Creechurch Private Wealth and their distinguished guests for a drinks reception to celebrate her double gold victory at the European Pony Championships in Arezzo, Italy.

Yasmin is the current British Champion and has recently been accepted onto the British Equestrian Federation Excel Talent programme.

Yasmin is one of a handful of riders who have been selected for the British Equestrian Federation Excel Talent programme and is the youngest rider to be chosen.

The Excel programme is the stepping stone to the World Class programme, where senior teams are selected with a view to winning Olympic medals.

Stewart Quayle, business development manager at Creechurch Capital, said: “We are immensely proud of Yasmin and I am sure everyone here this evening can see she is a credit to her sport. I am confident that Yasmin will achieve even greater things in the years to come.”

Yasmin commented: “Winning two gold medals and becoming British Champion was an amazing feeling and I couldn’t have done it without the support of my sponsors. I am grateful for this evening and for the opportunity they have given me.”

Yasmin has also joined illustrious names such as internationally renowned equestrian star, Billy Twomey, and Olympic medallist winner, Mary King, by riding horses owned and provided by Eddie & Sue Davies.

In January, Yasmin and her new horses are moving to Gloucestershire to be based at the yard of International rider, Nick Gauntlett, and Yasmin will be mentored and trained by Nick.
