The Council of Ministers will be responding to questions from the public tonight (Tuesday 22 October) during a community meeting being held at the Peel Centenary Centre.
The event, which starts at 7.30pm, will be chaired by Chief Minister Allan Bell MHK who says he is looking forward to another lively exchange of views.
It will follow a similar format to previous community meetings, with a short presentation taking place before an open question and answer session.
The regional events are a key part of the Chief Minister’s promise to promote open and transparent Government and to work with the public in the best interests of the Isle of Man.
As well as using the roving microphones during the open question and answer session, members of the audience will have the option of putting a written question to Ministers. Forms will be available which can be completed and placed in a box at the side of the main stage.
The meeting in Peel will start at 7.30pm, with doors open from 7pm. The event is free and open to all members of the public.
There is a limit on the number of people the venue can accommodate and seats will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis. No bookings will be taken.
People who are unable to attend can get a flavour of proceedings via the Chief Minister’s Office Twitter feed @IOMGovernment, following the hashtag #peelcomin
