George sisters home with medals

by isleofman.com 23rd October 2013
Manx Archers Aalin and Kirsten George have made the long journey from China to home after winning bronze medals at the World Archery Youth Championships at the weekend.
They have been telling Manx Radio Sport about the difficult conditions they had to shoot in throughout the week of competition.
That was due to strong winds form the tail-end of a cyclone.
The bronze came in the team competition when they were joined by Rebecca Lennon from Northern Ireland in the Great Britain trio.
The match was against favourites Mexico and they got off to a bad start to trail by 5 points.
But determination and some great shooting saw them home - Aalin George:-Clip 1
