A firework spectacular is promised on Tuesday November 5th when Ramsey Town Commissioners hold their public fireworks display on the Mooragh Lake island.
Lights go out at 7.30pm for the start of the display which can best be viewed from the vicinity of the Mooragh Park’s Lakeside Centre where hot drinks and snacks will be available.
Ramsey Town Commissioners’ chairman Captain Nigel Malpass said: ‘Ramsey’s fireworks spectacular is always a huge attraction thanks to the efforts of many people, not least the Commission’s own work force who ensure this large-scale community event provides an opportunity for families to enjoy a dazzling display in safety.’
Parking will be provided on the Mooragh amenity car park, the Vollan area and on the promenade, while pedestrians are asked to use the Ballacloan Road entrance to the park as the Grove Mount and Windsor Mount paths will be closed.
In the interests of safety and animal wellbeing spectators are asked not to bring their own fireworks or be accompanied by their dogs.
