by isleofman.com 26th October 2013

Douglas Royal are back on top in JCK Division Two.

A 3-1 home victory over battling Malew moved them ahead of Gymns, whose match was postponed.

Malew led but Royal bounced back with Frankie Luckman, Chris Anderson and a late goal from player-manager Gavin Gawne sealing the points.

Colby maintained their promotion push but had to fight hard after a spirited showing from lowly Pulrose.

In the end, second half goals from Craig Gelling and Brett Alcotte secured a hard fought 2-0 victory.

Ayre United stay fifth after a 3-0 success at Braddan, courtesy of goals from Phil Quayle, Johnny Kelly and Paul Kennish.

Douglas Athletic are in a fine sixth spot after a 7-1 win over bottom club Foxdale.

Doubles from Josh Green, Matthew Entwistle and James Horton and one from Mark Hargreaves ensured a comfortable afternoon for the home side.
