Nunnery worries for Henderson

North Douglas MHK Bill Henderson says he wants to make sure the Nunnery would still be accessible to the public if the government sells the property.

In the House of Keys tomorrow morning he’ll quiz Education Minister Tim Crookall about the public rights of way that run through the grounds.

Mr Henderson says the Nunnery provides some much-needed green space in the capital and he’s eager to ensure those wouldn’t be sealed off by a potential buyer.
